Creating a song
How long does it take to get my song?
Under three minutes between launch and the finished song, in the vast majority of cases. The brief itself takes as long as you want: it saves automatically and you can come back to it later. If a generation runs longer than usual, it continues in the background and you will find it in “My songs” — no need to run it again.
Can I write the lyrics myself?
Yes. The studio accepts your own lyrics instead of the guided brief. Woyla then only handles composition, singing and master preparation.
What language does Woyla sing in?
You choose the singing language when picking the voice, independently of the language you are browsing in. The site itself exists in French and English.
How many versions will I get?
One final version is generated for each launch. It is ready to play, download and share as soon as creation finishes.
What happens if I don’t like the result?
You can edit the brief and run it again as many times as you like. Each run consumes notes, with one exception: if creation fails on our side, nothing is charged and you can run it again straight away.
Receiving and listening
What format do I receive the song in?
A complete MP3, the written lyrics, and a shareable gift page. A vertical video is also prepared for songs that lend themselves to it, so you can post it on social media.
Can I download my song?
Yes, from “My songs”, as soon as the complete song is available. Downloads are unlimited: the file stays available for as long as the song exists on your account.
Can other people see my song?
No. A song is private by default. It only becomes public if you explicitly publish it in the Explorer, and you can unpublish it at any time.
What is the audio quality?
A single master is produced, at the highest available definition. It is the same file you stream and the one you download: there is no degraded version reserved for listening.
Can I delete a song?
Yes, from “My songs”. Deleting removes the song, its audio, its video and its gift page. It is permanent: a deleted song cannot be recovered, not even by writing to us.
Notes and payment
What is a Woyla note?
The note is the unit you create with. A song consumes a fixed number of notes, shown before launch. You buy notes individually or in packs, and your balance stays visible in “Notes & subscriptions”.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bank card and mobile money, depending on the country you pay from. Prices are displayed in CFA francs, euros or dollars, in the currency attached to your account.
Do my notes expire?
An expiry date applies to some offers only. When it does, it is stated at purchase and repeated in “Notes & subscriptions”, on the “Notes expiring soon” line.
How does the subscription work?
The Creator subscription grants a number of complete songs per billing period, renewed at every billing date. It can be cancelled at any time: access stays open until the end of the period already paid for, with no renewal afterwards.
Can I get a refund?
A song is a personalised digital content, performed immediately at your request: the right of withdrawal no longer applies once generation has started. However, if a creation fails for a technical reason, the corresponding notes are automatically credited back. For anything else, write to us: we look at every situation.
Sharing and gifting
How does the gift page work?
Every song can get a gift page: a unique address showing the recipient’s first name, the song, your message and an image. You send the link over WhatsApp, SMS or email, and the page opens straight away.
Does the recipient need an account?
No. The gift page opens with no account, no app and no password. That is the whole point: they click and they listen.
Can I disable a link I already sent?
Yes. You can take a gift page down at any time from “My gift pages”: the link stops working immediately, even if it has already been shared.
What is the Explorer?
It is the catalogue of songs whose creators chose to publish them. Each song shows its number of plays, likes and shares. A like counts once per person, and a share once per channel: the counters cannot be inflated.
How does the referral programme work?
You share your unique link. When someone who signed up through it places their first paid order, ten notes are credited to you and ten to them, up to ten rewards per month.
Account and privacy
How do I create an account?

I forgot my password.
From the sign-in screen, request a reset link. It arrives by email and stays valid for a limited time, for your security.
Can several of us create songs together?
Yes. You can invite people into your workspace: they create songs using the workspace notes, without needing a balance of their own.
How do I change my language or currency?
In “My account”. The language applies to the interface and to emails, the currency to displayed prices and future payments.
How do I delete my account and my data?
En la aplicación móvil, abre Perfil, después Ajustes y Eliminar mi cuenta. Según el método de acceso de la cuenta, confirma con tu contraseña o con una reautenticación reciente en Google o Apple y escribe después la palabra solicitada. El perfil, las canciones, los archivos de audio y las páginas de regalo asociadas no podrán recuperarse. En la web, escríbenos desde la dirección de correo de la cuenta. En ambos casos, los registros contables de pago se conservan durante el plazo exigido por la ley.
