Step 1 · 1 minute
Pick the occasion
Birthday, wedding, christening, dowry, achievement, tribute, declaration, encouragement, or fun. The occasion is not a decorative label: it changes the questions you are asked, the vocabulary of the lyrics and the styles we suggest.

Step 2 · 3 to 5 minutes
Tell the story
The first name, how you know each other, a memory, a sentence only you could say. A guide walks you through it question by question, and you skip the ones that don’t speak to you. You also choose the tone: moving, festive, funny or solemn.

Pick the voice
Female, male, duet or choir, then the language of the singing. It is the last setting before launch: a summary puts everything you chose back in front of you.

Woyla composes
Lyrics get written, the melody gets composed, the voice gets recorded, then the master is prepared. One final version is produced for each launch. You can close the page — the song waits for you in “My songs”.

You can publish the song in the Explorer so the community can hear it — or keep it strictly private. Private is the default.

Four tips for a brief that rings true
The most concrete briefs give the most moving songs. Every single time.
Be specific rather than flattering
Adjectives all sound alike; facts don’t. A two-line anecdote travels further than a full page of compliments.
Write the way you speak
Your words are what make the difference. No need for fine phrasing: style is our job.
Give us the nicknames
The pet name nobody else uses is often the line that makes the whole table cry.

Three strong ideas beat twelve skimmed ones. A song lasts three minutes, not thirty.

How long between launch and song?
Under three minutes in the vast majority of cases. If a generation runs longer than usual, it continues in the background: you will find the song in “My songs”, with nothing to re-launch.
How much does a song cost?
A song consumes a fixed number of Woyla notes, shown before launch. You buy notes individually, in packs, or you take a subscription with a song allowance per billing period.
Who owns the song?
You do. You can listen to it, download it, gift it, play it at a private party and share it with your circle. Commercial exploitation, however, requires our written agreement.
Does Woyla only sing in French?
No. You choose the singing language when picking the voice, independently of the language you browse the site in.
What if I don’t like the result?
You edit the brief and run it again. A re-run consumes notes, except when creation failed on our side: in that case nothing is charged.
